Module 1.02
There is so much content out there available on Internet Marketing, how to build an online business, how to make money online, how to start a blog or create YouTube videos that can bring in money.
With loads of content being available at your fingertips and a lot of it being free, it requires a fair bit of time and effort sifting through the good and the bad.
Paid courses, information, videos, and tools can help with saving time because the content is usually consolidated into an easy-to-digest manner.
Unfortunately, a lot of paid content of course costs money! This does not help when you are starting from nothing and trying to stick to a shoestring budget.
How To Start An Online Business Website
This Module will go through some of the initial research I conducted on Internet Marketing and how to build a business online, with the goal that it will lead to eventually bringing in a passive income.
Do you want to build an online business like me or keep working your 9 to 5 job, grinding away to build up someone else’s business and wealth?
If you haven’t already, check out Module 1.01 – What are the advantages and disadvantages of being self-employed?
A key point I would like to highlight is that you could read or watch all the content in the world (online articles, books, videos, audiobooks, podcasts, etc.), but unless you take action then you won’t go anywhere!
Once you think you have enough information to get started, then make a plan and execute it!

In one of my later posts, I’ll be running through what my plan is to build an online business and make money online.
In your plan, you could include setting aside some time for studying to learn a new skill or build up your knowledge base.
You could either build time for study into your daily or weekly schedule, or you could schedule it for once you’ve reached certain milestones.
To have a baseline or benchmark to compare against, I have intentionally avoided doing proper keyword research and implementation for this blog post / Module (at least on the initial release).
The basic keyword research I did for this Module
I’ve done quick checks to see if there’s any Search Volume (SV) for the Module title and sub-heading titles and quick checks for organic/free SEO difficultly (SD) using Ubersuggest and Competition (Comp) The HOTH Free google Keyword Planner Tool.
I was very loose with the criteria.
If the SD was less than 50 or Comp was less than 0.5 – I used it. I don’t recommend this though for starting out, I’m doing this as a test and a way to have my own benchmark website traffic analytics data.
Using the website analytics data, I’ll see what sort of difference it makes to generating traffic. This will give me more confidence in the keyword research I’m doing for the other Modules.
If any of the information here has helped you or been useful, please let me know in the comments!
